Making Experiences Simple & Usable
Gurpreet is a designer by the day and a serial chiller by the night. 10 years ago, he stepped into the world of design, dreaming of leaving his mark in the world of art and design. He loves fast cars and has also started practicing meditation these days as he aspires to be a monk with a Ferrari. Three years down the line he sees himself with six-pack abs like Farhan Akhtar from Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.Today, he is an HFI-Certified Usability Expert running his own UX design studio called Flying Saints. His work has been appreciated by the likes of Tag Heuer, Yes Bank, Vestige, Mrs.Bectors and many more. He is spearheading Flying Saints to be amongst the top 5 digital agencies in India by 2023.He found his life mantra in two words - Nirbhau, Nirvair which means without fear and without hate.
My Process
Research I collaborate with stakeholders, ask meaningful questions, probe user goals, motivations, to understand context.
Discovery I ideate solutions by wireframing or creating mockups, facilitate design studios, and gather user feedback.
Design I design delightful, purposeful interactions and interfaces that help the user accomplish his or her tasks.
Development I prototype the final design either in code (HTML, CSS, JS), Invision, Framer Studio or other tools depending on the job
Test & Iteration I perform research through series of usability tests and A/B testing, evaluate design with analytics, and iterate.
